Dr. Steven Chu is a Chinese American but can't speech Chinese. Before the new appointment of Secretaty of DOE, he was the head of LBNL.

Speaking about Department of Enerygy(DOE), I have worked on several projects funded by DOE when I was in Pasadena. At first thought, wow, what kind of projects can be funded by DOE?
