洛杉矶印象

在芝加哥待了不到两年，卖掉我的750美元的破车，我向LA飞去. 洛杉矶和芝加哥完全不同. 黑人少, 华人多. 没有穿城而过的高架地铁, 有的是密布的freeway. 特别是state route 110 freeway, 曲曲弯弯,好像赛车游戏里的风景. 海滩, 雪山, 主题乐园, 博物馆, 植物园,动物园,海洋世界, 全都可以容易的开车打个来回. 冬天不太冷, 夏天日头高照,但是晚上也凉快了下来. 不过西部就是西部, 晚上很多地方都很黑. 市中心的摩天大楼也比芝加哥少.

因为在芝加哥和一群送外卖的住, 养成了节俭的习惯. 后来去华人超市, 发现很多萎缩的华人买菜都自己先"预处理", 我也在买蘑菇的时候学习别人把梗掐掉. 这件事相信还有不少别的华人同学在做. 不久莫名其妙的就有人给华人同学会的邮件组发信, 鄙视这种贪小便宜的做法. 不知道这封信是个随机的事件,还是一系列事件中的一个小插曲.
