Fix
===
a) use rescue mode from the cdrom
b) copy /mnt/source/RedHat/RPMS/kernel-x.y.z-smp to /mnt/sysimage/tmp
c) chroot /mnt/sysimage
d) rpm -ivh /tmp/kernel-x.y.z-smp

Error
=====
mount: error 6 mounting ext3
pivotroot: pivot_root(/sysroot, /sysroot/initrd) failed:
Kernel panic: No init found

Fix
===
No problem for RH7.2, but for RH 7.3. Installed ext2 fs, not ext3 fs.
