Wow, put aside Kongfu, this is the first ever Hollywood movie I've ever watched with a leading Chinese male role. The movie's plot is so unreal but the performance is definitely solid and touching for Asian American, especially the second generation of Chinese immigrants. The feeling of alienation. The movie make bitter joke about it. The movie seems to be independent take, no big studio back, and I bet it won't be imported legally in China. The similar movies watched - Lost In Translation, The Longest Night in Shanghai.

Firefox never works well with popular websites in China. We can't blame Firefox for this because all those ActiveX plugins are targeted for IE only. To make it sort of compatible, there is a IE plugin for Firefox, which makes Firefox acts like a IE. Hmm... What's the point for this? Is IE that bad? IE was notorious but I think IE7 is not that bad. Now the big problem, after several updates, I dunno it is caused by Firefox updates or Windows hotfixes, Firefox is now a memory leak monster. Open several tabs, Firefox eats up all the memory and hang the machine. It has to be removed. One thing I am missing about Firefox is its bookmark toolbar, can't find similar in IE. About bookmark toolbar, it is called Links toolbar in IE.

The movie is on the top box office and get full house of Oscar winning cast. It gets all the thumb up from critics. Washington acts as a 70's gangster Frank Lucas. Russell Crowe as a good cop Roberts. Both of them stand out in their own group. Lacus looks like a professional businessman but a heroin kingpin. Roberts turns in millions of unmarked dollars in while many others policemen are only interested in dog-eats-dog game. Washington is a good fit for Lucas. Nothing changed since Training Day. If the movie needs a role that bad guy looks like a gentleman, he is the one. He is the guy shaking head gentelly, and saying "my man, my man" with a smile.

女儿的幼儿园被选中参加上海市的家庭亲子运动会，项目是和谐同心圆和欢乐运输队。训练了一个月，每周两次，星期天终于可以去参加比赛了。周日早上10点出门，坐地铁到静安寺，走几步，就到了中福会少年宫。去的时候不知道路，还打车，2分钟就开到了。到了那， 发现还比较早。少年宫里有一个超大的攀爬游戏场，很多小孩在爬上爬下的，像猴子一样。女儿也跑去爬。周围一大堆家长。可以看出的确是上海市的运动会，各行各业的家长都有。比赛时间到了，和谐同心圆项目倒是很快，我们得了小组第二，37秒。

原因是家乐福搞店庆，卖优惠的食用油。这样的新闻我是绝对相信的。中国人向来是对油啊肉啊之类的价格特别敏感，可偏偏最近这些东西的价格和房价一样芝麻开花节节高。而且中国人对便宜优惠的东西向来充满了热情。在上海这样的大城市，我就见识了N次。简直就是疯抢。群众的力量不是吹得。什么把门挤爆，电梯挤烂，都是实实在在发生的。

秋天来了，但是不太冷。看到不少美女穿西装短裤，黑色紧裤袜，短靴。看起来很精神，而且有韵味。但是偏偏有些女人不顾自己的客观实际，也这样打扮，反而适得其反。粗粗的腿被这样视觉上切割成三段，好恶。
